ALTEA Capital Partners today announced that Daniel Winberg has joined the firm as Partner, bringing nearly 25 years of private equity experience as the firm continues to build its healthspan-focused investment platform following its first investment and first close of SEK 450m.

Daniel joins from Accent Equity, where he spent 18 years as Partner and played a central role in the firm’s investment activities and leadership transition. Over the course of his career, he has led numerous Nordic small- and mid-market investments across healthcare, business services and consumer-facing sectors. We are happy that he will now be fully focused on Altea going forward.

As investment lead and Board Chair, Daniel has overseen carve-outs, consolidation strategies and add-on acquisitions, working closely with management teams to build and scale companies.

Daniel began his career as a consultant at Bain & Company and KPMG, advising private equity firms and their portfolio companies.
